Overview
The GLP-1 Companion is a free, optional feature in the Noom app designed to support those taking GLP-1 medications. It offers tailored content, tools, and insights to help you succeed on your health journey.
What to Know
Access to educational content and in-app tools that support sustainable habits, manage medication side effects, and protect your health while taking GLP-1s.
- Can be activated during signup (by selecting “yes” when asked about GLP-1 medications) or toggled on later in app settings.
You’ll be eligible for the GLP-1 Companion if you:
- Are enrolled in the English version of Noom Weight
- Are located in the U.S., Canada, Australia, or New Zealand
- Have the latest version of the Noom app iOS or Android
- Indicate that you’re taking GLP-1 medication
What to Do
To activate the GLP-1 Companion at signup:
- During Noom Weight signup, you’ll be asked if you’re currently taking a GLP-1 medication.
- If you select Yes, the GLP-1 Companion will be automatically added at no extra cost.

⚠️Note: You can remove it from your plan on the checkout screen if you change your mind.
To activate the GLP-1 Companion in-app (after signup):
Option 1: Via Notification Card
- Open the Noom app.
- Tap Learn More on the GLP-1 Companion card at the top of your home screen.
- Tap Go to Settings on the next screen.
- Under Curriculum, toggle On the GLP-1 Companion.
- Select your medication(s) and any side effects you’re experiencing.
- Tap Done.
Option 2: Via Settings
iOS
- Tap your profile icon (top left).
- Tap Settings.
- Scroll to Curriculum and toggle On the GLP-1 Companion.

- Select your medication(s) and side effects.
- Tap Done.

Android
- Tap your profile icon (top left).
- Tap Settings, then GLP-1 Companion.
- Toggle On the GLP-1 Companion.

- Select your medication(s) and side effects.
- Tap Done.

To turn off the GLP-1 Companion:
- Go to Settings and toggle it Off under Curriculum (iOS) or under the GLP-1 Companion section (Android).
- Confirm by tapping Turn Off.
