Overview
If something isn’t working right in the Android app, this guide covers quick troubleshooting steps, how to report a bug, and where to check for known technical issues.
What to Know
- The first thing to check when experiencing an app issue is whether you’re using the latest version.
- If the issue persists, you can report it through our Support Form. Be sure to include the following details:
- Your device maker and model
- Your Noom app version and Android version
- The steps leading up to the issue
- Any error messages you received
What to Do
1. Basic Android Troubleshooting
Start here if the app is freezing, crashing, or not syncing properly:
- Force close the Noom app (go to your app switcher and swipe it away).
- Make sure the app is up to date in the Google Play Store. If there’s no Update button, then you’re already on the latest version.
2. Report a Bug
If the issue continues after troubleshooting:
- Open any FAQ article and scroll to “Was this useful?”
- Tap No, then choose Report a product issue from the dropdown.
- Select the relevant category under More details, then tap Next.
- Fill out the form with as much detail as possible, including:
- Your device maker and model
- Android OS version and Noom app version
- Steps leading up to the issue
- Any error messages
- Tap Submit.
