Overview
Your clinician will order your labs and send them electronically to Quest or LabCorp. Most lab costs are included, and your results will go directly to your clinician for review.
What to Know
- Lab orders are sent electronically and also available as a PDF in your Noom app under Labs.
- These are fasting labs—no food for 12 hours before your draw. Only water, black coffee, or plain black tea are allowed.
- Results go directly to your clinician; you don’t need to upload them.
- The cost of the first labs is included if taken at Quest of Labcorp, except in NY, NJ, RI, or if you choose an independent lab.
What to Do
After your clinician orders labs:
- You’ll receive an instruction email.
- Find your lab order PDF in the app under Labs.
- Fast for 12 hours before your appointment (only water, black coffee, or plain black tea).
- Go to a Quest or LabCorp location to complete your labs.
To upload existing labs:
- During intake, you can upload any labs you already have (Lipid Panel, CMP, TSH, Hemoglobin A1C, fasting Insulin).
- Labs should be recent (within 6 months, depending on your conditions).
- After intake, you can upload additional labs from the side navigation menu (tap your profile picture, then Labs).
- If your clinician ordered new labs, no upload is needed—results are sent directly.
If there’s no LabCorp or Quest nearby:
- Check availability with Get Labs, a mobile lab company.
- If Get Labs isn’t available, ask your preferred lab if they’ll accept a Quest or LabCorp order.
- If not accepted, contact your Care Team in the app for other options.
To view your results:
- Log into your LabCorp or Quest account to see results.
- Your clinician will also review results with you during your appointment.

Q: Are labs included in my subscription?
A: Yes, initial labs are included for most patients. If you use an independent lab or live in NY, NJ, or RI, you’ll need to use your insurance and may have out-of-pocket costs.
