Overview
Your Noom subscription may qualify as a medical expense under many HSA/FSA plans. While Noom does not accept direct HSA/FSA payments, we can provide documentation to support reimbursement.
What to Know
Noom’s prescription-based and telehealth programs, including the GLP-1Rx Programs, Weight Loss Pill (Metformin), Noom + HRTRx, and the Telehealth for Branded Meds Program, should generally qualify as eligible medical expenses for most HSA/FSA plans. However, coverage can vary depending on your specific plan.
To request reimbursement, you’ll need two documents:
- Your subscription receipt, which was sent to your email at the time of purchase
- A Letter of Medical Necessity, which your clinician can provide upon request
What to Do
- Search your inbox for your subscription receipt from Noom.
- Open the Noom app and message your clinician or Care Team through the in-app chat.
- Request a Letter of Medical Necessity to support your HSA/FSA claim.
- Submit both documents to your HSA/FSA provider for reimbursement.

A: For medication costs, you’ll need to use the receipt provided to you by the pharmacy. This is separate from the Noom subscription and may also be eligible for HSA/FSA reimbursement.
Q: Does Noom guarantee HSA/FSA approval?
A: Noom cannot guarantee reimbursement. Coverage depends on your individual plan and provider guidelines.
