Overview
Motivation naturally ebbs and flows. That’s why Noom gives you a built-in tool—a Motivation SOS Plan—to help you stay on track when momentum dips.
What to Know
- On Day 2 of your program, you’ll be prompted to create an SOS Plan to help you get back on track if your app usage slows down. This could mean skipping lessons, not logging meals, or not opening the app.
⚠️ Note: You can choose to receive an email or text message reminder, or opt out entirely.
What to Do
To create your Motivation SOS Plan:
- Open the Noom app and go to Day 2 of your program.
- Tap the “Create Your Motivation SOS Plan” article under Today’s Lessons.
- Answer all the quiz questions.
- Choose how you want to be notified—text, email, or no messages.
- Enter your phone number (for texts) or email and subject line (for emails).
- Bookmark the article to find it easily later (tap the bookmark icon in the top right corner).
To change your SOS Plan:
