How to Turn On and Use Macro Tracking

Overview

The Macro Tracking feature helps you monitor your intake of protein, carbohydrates, and fats. It’s great for Noomers with specific nutrition goals like weight loss, muscle gain, or GLP-1 support. As you log meals, macros and calories are automatically tracked.

What to Know

  • Macro Tracking focuses on protein, carbs, and fat—not vitamins or minerals.
  • This feature is available to Noomers in the U.S. enrolled in:
    • The English version of the Noom Weight program (U.K. excluded)
    • The Noom Med program
  • You’ll need the latest version of the app (12.40.0 or higher) on iOS or Android.

What to Do

To turn on Macro Tracking:

Option 1 – From Settings:

  1. Tap your profile icon (top left)
  2. Tap Settings
  3. Tap Macro Monitoring Settings
  4. Toggle Macro Targets to On

Option 2 – From the Home screen:

  1. Swipe left across the calorie bar to find the Macros widget
  2. Tap Turn on Macros

Option 3 – From your curriculum content:

  • Macro Tracking is introduced in Week 2, Module 9 of the Noom program. You can turn it on directly from the lesson.

To edit your macro targets:

  1. Go to Settings > Macro Monitoring Settings
  2. Tap any macro value to edit
  3. Adjust the percentage for each (must total 100%)
  4. Tap Update to save
