Technical Help for Android Users

Overview

If something isn’t working right in the Android app, this guide covers quick troubleshooting steps, how to report a bug, and where to check for known technical issues.

What to Know

  • The first thing to check when experiencing an app issue is whether you’re using the latest version.
  • If the issue persists, you can report it through our Support Form. Be sure to include the following details:
    • Your device maker and model
    • Your Noom app version and Android version
    • The steps leading up to the issue
    • Any error messages you received

What to Do

1. Basic Android Troubleshooting

Start here if the app is freezing, crashing, or not syncing properly:

  1. Force close the Noom app (go to your app switcher and swipe it away).
  2. Make sure the app is up to date in the Google Play Store. If there’s no Update button, then you’re already on the latest version.

2. Report a Bug

If the issue continues after troubleshooting:

  1. Open any FAQ article and scroll to “Was this useful?”
  2. Tap No, then choose Report a product issue from the dropdown.
  3. Select the relevant category under More details, then tap Next.
  4. Fill out the form with as much detail as possible, including:
    • Your device maker and model
    • Android OS version and Noom app version
    • Steps leading up to the issue
    • Any error messages
  5. Tap Submit.
